Resources at the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre

Groups and individuals wishing to research their community or the lives of soldiers during the First World War will find lots of resources at the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre. The resources are held by Wiltshire and Swindon Archives and the Wiltshire Studies Library, both located at the centre. Materials include original letters and diaries written by soldiers, photographs, maps, field books, Red Cross hospital records and recruitment tribunal papers; and records relating to the home front, such as other contemporary diaries and letters, parish and local government records and newspapers.
