Bring the BBC to your World War One event

BBC Wiltshire wants to know if you’re running a WW1 event in the county that they could bring their special BBC Roadshow to.

The event needs to be between June and September, should be expected to attract a minimal footfall of 1,500 and ideally be an event already in place or based around a WW1 anniversary event.

They can bring a BBC Bus, a stage inside a tent and an area where people can use ipads to research family history and access the amazing range of BBC resources on the war. There is also a partnership developing with the Imperial War Museum to include additional activities.

BBC Wiltshire on-air presenters are expected at the roadshow as well.

If you’re organising an event, please do get in touch with Ashley Heath at BBC Wiltshire. He’s on ashley.heath@bbc.co.uk, or 07711 349048.
