Free Community Theatre Workshop for Salisbury’s Residents

Free Community Theatre Workshop for Salisbury’s Residents
This free community theatre workshop run by The Heroine Project, will take place on Saturday 30th August 2014 in Salisbury. The aim of the workshop is to stimulate interest in Salisbury women’s World War One stories and make known the story of Dorothy Lawrence, the English reporter who secretly posed as a man to become a soldier during World War I. Participants will be invited to have a go at writing a short scene with actors and a director, using devising and improvisation techniques and games. This workshop is open to residents of the Salisbury wards of St Edmund’s and Milford, and St Martin’s and Cathedral, only. Please contact Heroine Project director Lizzie Crarer for further information at lizziecrarer@hotmail.com
