Welcome to the Heritage in Wiltshire blog. Please follow us for information, news and opportunities about heritage activity in Wiltshire.

To get things started we are going to be posting about the huge range of work going on across the county to commemorate 100 years since the outbreak of World War I. Wiltshire was changed forever by the events of The Great War and over the next few years communities will be exploring, sharing and commemorating their stories. This blog will allow you to find out what is going on, how you can get involved and also provide information and resources that will be useful for your own projects.

This blog is brought to you by The Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre in partnership with the First World War Steering Group. Please visit the History Centre website at http://www.wshc.eu to find out about the other services we offer.

Please follow the blog to keep up to date with new posts.
